Hi!

My name is Karolina-Dzhoanna. I study public conflicts around art. In my research, I focus on the phenomenon of public protests against controversial art and the factors underlying this protest reaction. I am also curious about collective affects and symbolic violence as forms of conflict interaction around art.

My PhD is from Ural Federal University. 

Currently a postdoctoral researcher at East China Normal University in Shanghai (Philosophy Department).
